Request For Principal Permission Failed in SCUP 2011
I got this error the other day at a customer when setting up SCUP 2011: “Failed to connect to the update server. Check your update server configuration settings and try connecting again. Request for principal permission failed.”
The solution to this problem was to run SCUP 2011 elevated (Run as administrator).
